Congratulations to Joyce Lansky of Tennessee who won the drawing for the signed Rick Riordan book, THE RED PYRAMID!
I’m sure there is some cool way on the computer to mix up the names and pull one but I did it the old fashioned way–with little paper strips. I even had a disinterested party (trust me, she’s 12–she’s VERY disinterested) pick the winner. Joyce, aka Aphrodite, please contact me with your address so I can send the book along.
This was fun. Can’t wait until I can do it with my own book.

I’m dancing in my PJs! I’m soooo excited. I love Riordan’s books, and I am a little older than twelve–at least chronologically.
Thanks so much for the contest! This is the best prize ever.

Isn’t it awesome when a storyteller can get us to dance in our PJs? Now THAT’s success!

Fab, you are absolutely right about girls staying more connected with their parents throughout their lives And yes, our generation has a huge relinosibispty of making our boys gender sensitive, respectful of other women and always, always considering them at par. You know, when I started reading articles about crimes against women, and the kind of statements people make to even justify those, I strongly feel something has gone terribly wrong in upbringing and social set up.
